The Legends of Equestria Book 3 Chapter: 2Chapter 2: The Ancients
Twilight rushed toward the castle, spreading her wings and taking off a few times to increase her speed. When she got to the castle, she saw it in ruins. Twilight gasped at the destruction before her. She felt something familiar about this, but she couldn't put her hoof on it. She put the thought aside for a second as she teleported inside the castle. Her magic took her to a deep and dark hallway. It was scorched black with soot. That nagging feeling came back, but this time it was clear what was happening. Twilight was replaying her nightmare. In real life.
She lit up the hallway with her light spell, and kept it going. She focused her eyes forward, and then came to the throne chamber. It was just as bad as it was in her nightmare. The stone was scorched, glass melted, metal twisted into scrap, and a great big desert of what used to be Ponyville. Night had fallen, making the sce
The Legends of Equestria Book 3 Chapter: 1Chapter 1: Trapped
Twilight was having a nightmare. The likes of which she never experienced her whole life. Not even the pain of her brother going through the rebuilding process could match up to this. She found herself inside an old abandoned castle hallway. Its black stone giving her a feeling of isolation that no other place could match. Twilight lit up the hallway with her light spell, and continued down the hall, she jumped at every little noise, the loose pebbles falling from the eroding rock, the dust falling from the ceiling, everything. Twilight continued walking forward, not focusing on what lay behind her. She fixed her eyes in front of her and kept them there.
Soon, she came to a huge chamber, it looked vaguely familiar to the new princess. She intensified her magic glow, the light violet light started to reveal disturbing images. The walls were caved in, the windows were shattered, revealing the desolate black ni
The Legends of Equestria Book 3: ProloguePrologue
I took one final look at my home away from home, Ponyville. The glow emanating from it cut through the dark blue night. I had made many friends there, the ponies trusted me. I had assumed the position of their prince, ruling by Celestia's and Luna's side. My sister had been made a princess only a few weeks before, and she looked up to me. She needed me for brotherly advice. She has Celestia to give it to her. I thought to myself. It was true, she had Celestia to give her pointers on being a princess, I mean, they're both princesses in the first place. But, she needs help from the other end of the spectrum, one who has more experience than her, but closer, a family member. She needed me, but I had to take this journey. I felt something call out to me, something important. It felt sort of like a Planetary Spirit calling out to me, but a bit more, muted. Not so urgent or boom-in-your-face
