I know it's a bit early, but MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!!! I'm going to upload an earlier drawing right on Christmas Eve.
Anyway, this is the legendary Valley of Dreams in the Toordran Yilikona Mountains. The figure in the foreground is none other than Serena, the Moon's Ghost. She is in charge of watching over the valley and governing the spirits who make the dreams.
Only Serena, me, and a select few of my friends can actually enter the valley and see the dream creators, the Klikonas. They are the only creatures that can create dreams and send them to the minds of dragons, phoenixes, Terradon Cobras, and Kryan Wolves alike.
The Valley of Dreams is the paradise for anyone who comes. The reason why is because the Klikonas are such kind spirits. They are appointed by the Planetary Spirits themselves to do the dream keeping. When they allow it, they will let you see their creations and it's so beautiful to watch. The valley is dark in appearance, but when you get down to the bottom, the Klikonas welcome you like a long lost family member. They love their job, and they love their customers. They even created a dream for me after I left the valley. Serena still watches over the valley with every intent on protecting it from Deryktus's Nightmare Warriors, the fiercest of them all.
*now that she can speak* Hey Nick! This is sooooo beautiful! I hope you don't mind if I study it so that I can learn to draw something in this style (you know with the black paper and the white colored pencil) btw is the colored pencil you used a special one or can i just use a crayola one or something? thanks! oh and i'll be able to come to art club next week so i can see your new artwork! again, this is beautiful!
I actually used just a white prismacolor colored pencil, you can get them from Mr. Bingham in our art class actually, and I'm going to upload another black paper drawing on Christmas Eve, I could show you next week, but it would spoil the surprise you know? I really want to show it to you though.
Oh okay! I will ask him for one on monday. I just want to see if I can do it, because your drawings are super cool! And I can't wait to see your drawing! and if you want to keep the surprise that's okay, i won't mind
I used just a white Prismacolor colored pencil, some black paper, and some elbow grease to get the smudge effect. It's just so easy and fun to do it. If you want to try it, you can get some paper and pencils at art stores all over the place. Thanks for commenting!!!
^^ My mom promised me a bunch of sketch pads if I get all as and bs on my report card, which is coming out next week, and I'm pretty sure I am, so I'm so f!ck!ng excited!!!!!!
Very nice!
